Commissions are accepted for family pets, as well as show horses and ponies; hunter-jumpers, dressage, steeplechase, and race horses. Children may be painted with or without their pets. Visit our "People" page for examples.

The portraits are painted in oil on canvas, linen, or birch panels. The cost of a commissioned portrait varies according to detail and size. Prices begin at $500 for a 9"x12" head study through $5,000 for a 30"x40" figure. Larger commissions accepted. Add 50% for each additional subject in the same composition.

A series of good quality photographs is the best foundation for a great painting. Sandra will be happy to take photos for you, if necessary. Gift certificates are available.
